The Bankruptcy Section promotes networking among members who practice in three U.S. federal districts of the Bankruptcy Courts and provides educational opportunities through an "Annual Bankruptcy Institute" attended by a significant number of members at a resort location in the late fall and one-half day seminar in the spring of each year. The section updates and revises the Bankruptcy Manual as needed.
The section, with more than 730 members, sponsors CLE programs and services; provides members with a substantive newsletter; and helps mold the association's legislative agenda for presentation to the N.C. General Assembly. The newsletter, Disclosure Statement, offers an index of its articles and CLE topics.
